Life in college is an adventure.

Hey Y'all! My name is Elizabeth Rose and I'm currently in my Junior year of college. If there's something I've learned during my college journey so far, it's the struggle of finding balance. It can be so discouraging to constantly have Canvas notifications reminding me of assignments due all the while trying to maintain a social life. College hasn't looked quite like Hollywood has portrayed it, but I'd say it's been pretty entertaining. On top of the assignments add friendships, boy drama, and surviving on Starbucks and you've got yourself a decent script for a drama. This blog is just about me exposing my own adventures. I know I've learned a lot so I hope to share some wisdom as well as potentially make you feel better about your own journey!

You Either Laugh or you Cry

This is something I constantly find myself saying. I'd say that it's my life motto. I spent my first half of college struggling with the idea of needing to be someone who didn't make me happy. I allowed others to be in charge of what emotions I had and it was a wall I had to break down to once again discover what it means to be joyful. The past few months I've been blessed with the realization that even if I can't control the circumstances around me, I have the power to choose how I react to them.

Keeping it Honest

I really hope that this blog encourages and challenges you in whatever stage of life you find yourself. I know life is crazy but I do hope to consistently share reflections and even be up to date on what life is teaching me.
